Today something a bit unfortunate happened... some of our things were stolen. We arrived to Tenjin in the evening and started busking. There we met Umi. He had also travel across Japan by bicycle and was interested in our story. Umi gave us a donation and even bought us some tea! He was a cool guy. Thank you Umi!

Mr and Mrs. Fukuishi read about us in the Kagoshima News paper. They live in Fukuoka and sent us a mail saying to contact them when we get to Fukuoka. We did, and they came to see us and gave a donation aswell.
Fukuoka is famous for "Yattai's" which are like out door, portable eating stands. They say you havn't been to Fukuoka if you don't eat at a Yattai, so Mr. Fukuishi showed us to a famous Yattai part of town.

We ate the famous "Hakata ramen".

福石さんはサイクリングをしてる。 屋台まで一緒に自転車できた!
Mr. Fukuishi is a cicylist. He rode with this on his bicycle to the Yattai!

This fun group of friends were in Fukuoka from Tokyo on business. They were all very kind and funny. Thank you all for your donations, and for a good time!
All the people that were sitting at the Yattai with us were very kind and helped us with a donation. But even better then that they gave us lots of words of encouragement.
MYチャリと一緒に記念撮影!明日、九州初のトレックのお店がオープン!!白い服の彼が関係者に電話をしたところ、、↓↓↓

These 3 gentlemen are cyclists. The man in the middle with the white t-shirt informed us that a new Trek show is opening in Fukuoka and the opening day is tomorow! What a great coincidence. He called someone he knew from Trek...
And to our surprise the men who came to see us were the ones who sponsored our bicycles!
We had never met them so it was a great surprise. Its a small world after all! We got a lot of advice about our bicycles.

Here is a picture with the master of the Yattai! He was very kind and helpful.
Everyone we met this night all have good hearts and we are thankful to have met all of you!

We had just been talking about taking our bicycles to get checked, when we met the Trek people. Lucky us, we met a bicycle specialist (Mr. Tamura) who checked and fixed our bikes for us!
