福岡を出発 ５月８日

今日はトレックのプレーオープン。福石さんに案内してもらい、お店でマリーのタイヤー修理をしました。偶然、神戸で自転車をもらった時にお世話になってた人が来ていました！ワオ（＾０＾）！
May 8/ day 19.
Today was the opening of the new Trek shop in Fukuoka. Mr. Fukuishi was our guide to the shop. There, the Trek staff fixed Marie's tire. By coincidence we met a man whom we knew from the Kobe Trek shop. Lots a happy surprises!

私が乗ってる自転車と同じのをを発見！！

I found the same bike as mine!
出発前のご飯。福石さんに知り合いのお店に連れてってもらいました。めっちゃおいしい手打ちそばを食べました！！ここの夫婦もサイクリング、ボランテアもしてるんだって！

Before riding out, Mr. and Mrs. Fukuishi treated us to lunch. The restaurant was owned by a very nice couple who were also cyclist and did some volunteer work. All the food they served was organic and very tasty!

こんさい館の夫婦、左と右から２つ目。すごく優しくしてもらい、地元の一本締めを歌ってくれました！ありがとうございます！！

The two people standing on either side of us are the nice couple. They were very kind and even sang for us a local song. Thank you so much for your kindness!

ここで福石さんとお別れ。ありがとうございました！！お世話になりました。

After lunch we said good bye to Mr. and Mrs. Fukuishi. Thank you so much for all your help!
海岸線をずっと走って、北九州へ向かう。

We took the ocean road and peddled toward Kita Kyushyu!

登り下りが無くって、景色が綺麗で、最高！！
The road was very straight and the veiw was beautiful. It was a relaxing chilled out ride.

北九州の小倉駅に着いたのは８時ぐらい。お腹ペコペコでした！

We arrived in Kita Kyushyu, Kokura station at around 8pm. We were starving!

まずはテントを張る所を探しに行きました。小倉城がすぐ近くにあったので、ふら〜っと寄りました。

First, we rode around looking for a place to set up camp for the night. Kokura castle was near by so we went to have a look.
夜のお城はめっちゃ素敵！！最高！いい場所を見つけ、今日は小倉城でキャンプしました。

The castle lights up at night and was very beautiful! We found a nice place near the castle and set up camp.
