５月９日 北九州の小倉

今日の朝、小倉城で起きたら侍さんが刀の練習をしていました。かっこいい！！
May 9/ day 20.
This morning when we woke up there was a man practicing his "katana" skills.
"Katana" is what you call a Japanese samurai sword. He looked really cool with his outfit and all!
そこに猫を連れた、カラフルなおねーさんが来ました（＾０＾）
Then, along came a very colorful young lady and her pet kitty! The hippy and the samurai began to converstate. Now that is somthing you don't see everyday! (^o^) b
彼女の名前は、はるか。ブルーと黄色の目をした白い猫を飼ってました！！めっちゃ綺麗！！
We chatted with the girl, who's name is Haruka and became friends almost right away!
Her kitty had very cool eyes. One was blue, the other was yellow. Beautiful!
カッコいいので記念撮影。山下さんは錺職で、着てる服も自分で染めたんだって！
We figured its not everyday you see some one dressed so cool, so we took a picture with the samurai man for good memories. Aparently he dyed the clothes he is wareing himself using persimon juices.

ブログを作らないといけないんで、場所を聞いたら、はるかが道案内をしてくれました。

Since we were very behind on our blog, we asked Haruka if she knew any net cafe's near by. She was also on bicycle and guided us to the nearest net cafe, which wasn't far from her home.

パソコントラブルでだいぶ遅くなったので、はるかが迎えに来てくれ、家に泊めさせてもらいました。ミルキーがまん丸になって寝てました！

Because of computer problems, it was pretty late by the time we finished the blog. Haruka came to pick us up and welcomed us to stay the night in her home. As the sky was threatning to rain, we were very glad to stay with her. Her kitty (milky) makes a good circle! So cute!

はるかは偶然沖縄で会った、太鼓のお兄さんのお友達！しかも、私たちの友達が書いてる絵ハガキを知り合いからもらってたとは。。。世の中狭いね〜（＞。＜）
Another strange coinsidence, Haruka happened to know a dude we met in Okinawa. Also, the postcard she is holding in this picture was painted by a friend of ours! She said one of her friends had given it to her! It really is a small world! (>-<)
