５月１１日 北九州〜山口県入り

今日は天気が晴れて気持ちいい朝でした！みんなとお別れ。。ありがとうございました！！すごく楽しかったです！

We woke to sunny skies! It was time to say good bye to Haruka and her family. Thank you all so much for the good memories. We had a great time!

また遊びに行きますね（＾０＾）

We will visit you all again! (^o^)

下関行きのフェリーに乗り、九州とお別れ。九州のみなさん、ありがとうございました！！！
We caught the ferry and headed to Shimonoseki. Thanks to all the people we met in Kyushyu!
We hope to see you all again!

到着！！広島を目指します！

We arrived in Shimonoseki station around noon! Our next destination, Hiroshima!

日本んは珍しい真っ赤な二段バス。かわいいですね。

We came across this red double decker bus. A pretty rare sight in Japan.

関門海峡を発見！！海沿いの景色はいいですね〜！

154km's to Hiroshima! Better get a move on!

田んぼの中を散歩してる風景って最高！空気もきれいでのんびりしてて。

An old couple take a stroll in the fields. The air was fresh, and the weather relaxing. A perfect day for a walk!

暑い中の登り下りはかなり大変！！フッと見えたテクノパーク。気になったし、疲れてたので、横に寄って止まった瞬間、前のタイヤにガラスが刺さりパンク！！！初めてのパンク修理。。緊張です！

The ups and downs were pretty hard, especially in the hot sun! This "Techno park" had caught my eye, and I wanted to take a little brake from riding so I pulled over to the side of the road, when, psssssssssssssssssssssssssst.....glass had cut my front tire and we had our offical first flat tire! I was nervous as this would be the first time for me to fix a flat tire...

タイヤのチューブに問題あり。直すのに手こずりました（＞。＜）近所のおっちゃんが空気入れを貸してくれて、なんとか直しました！

It took a while to fix it due to problems with the spare tube. A nice old man near by lent us his bike pump and helped us out, so we were able to fix it enough so that it was rideable.

テクノパークにいるゾウさんとカバさんのせいでパンクしたんだぞ！！

もう暗くなりだして、泊まる場所を探し始めた時に見つけたのがここの温泉旅館。温泉だけ入りに行き、もう遅いのでテントを貼っていいか聞いた所、「女の子二人じゃあ危ない」と言い、無料で泊まらせていただきました！！ありがとうございます！！！！

As night creeped in, we began to look for a place to camp, when we drove into an Onsen hotel. We both were very dirty and in need of a shower so we decided to just use the Onsen and wash up before finding a place to camp. After cleaning ourselves up we asked the Onsen manager if it was ok to camp in his property. "Its dangerous for 2 girls to camp", he said and let us stay the night in his hotel for free! What a kind heart! Thank you so much!

We ended our day with a delicous meal and headed to bed! zzzzz (-o-)
