May/2. Day 14.
Our 2nd day in Nagasaki. Today we woke up early and did some sight seeing. Our first stop was a famous temple where a famous Omatsuri (festival) is held every year. There were about 80 stairs to the top. Quite a work out.

Times like these I wish I could fly.

This bird was chilling by the side of the river. A peaceful moment.

Posing in the middle of the river.

They call this bridge "Meganebashi", which means glasses bridge.
The reason for this is if you look at it from the right angle at the right time of day, the reflection on the water resembles a pair of glasses. Unfortunatly it wasn't the right time of day for us, but it was still pretty cool.
This cute police box was located in Maruyama-chou.

This is the oldest guest house in Nagasaki, called "Kagetsu" meaning "flower moon". Notice Maries pose is "moon" and mine is "flower" = Moon flower! ha!

Here we are at Nagasaki's China town. Very red, very pretty!

Our first time to eat "Nagasaki Champon" and "Sara Udon" (they are the local traditional food)
It was delicious!
The radio crew approached us while we were busking on the street.
A few people from a local radio station asked us with we could answer a question for them. The question was "what do you think of time?" We got some free and unexpected publicity via radio, so we were lucky!
He was the first one to stop and chat with us when we started busking. A very nice guy!

This man is from an Okinawan band and he stopped to play a few songs with us.
