６月５日 滋賀（南彦根）～名古屋

朝から私は買出しに行き朝ごはんを作りました！めっちゃ久しぶりにお兄ちゃんと食べる朝ごはん。やっぱり家族っていいね（＾０＾）
June 5/ day 48.
I went shopping and made breakfast in the morning. I havn't had breakfast with my brother in a very long time! Its wonderful to be able to spend time with family!


出発準備をし、お兄ちゃんを仕事に見送り、私たちも出ました。いろいろありがとうね（＞。＜）！！わざわざ募金もしてくれて優しい～！！！！
We see my brother off to work, and we continue on our journey. My brother (Josh) even gave us a donation! Thank you so much!!

ポツポツと降り出した雨はだんだんと強くなって来た。今日も雨の中を走るって考えるとやる気があまり。。。
It begins to sprinkle, and the sprinkle turns to rain. We must ride in the rain today.....not a happy thought..
足がびしょびしょになっては風邪を引いてしまうからと、思い付いた、ゴミ袋長靴！

Not wanting to catch a cold, we thought of an idea to keep our feet dry. Garbage bag rain boots!
道を間違え、早く曲がりすぎた二人。。。どんどん山の中へ入って行き、野いちごを発見！！ちょうどお腹も空いてたので少し食べました！

We turned a little too early and took the wrong road... Ending up up up in the mountains, we found wild strawberries! We were hungry at the time so we tried a few.

こんな面白い物も発見しました！木耳を触ってびっくりしてるマリーの顔を写真にうまく捕らえました！

We find a strang looking root! This picture captures the discusted look on Maries face very well, as she touches something growing off of the root!

走ってると、こんな看板が出てきました！！まん真ん中だって！！もう半分来たのか。。

Riding through the mountains, we found this sign. The middle of Japan!! Wow, we already came half way...
すごくお腹が空いてたので、ご飯を食べようと入ったら閉まってました。。残念！！

We stoped for luch since we were starving but the place was closed.. Oh no!

んまあ、関が原の合戦の記念館を少しのぞけたので大丈夫！違うところを探しに出発。

Well, at least we got to see a little bit of the Sekigahara war sight. We headed to find another place to eat.

すぐ近くにあってよかった！！温かいうどんを食べ、体も暖かくなった。でもまた寒い中を走るのは辛いなあ。。。
We were lucky to find one close by! We warmed up our bodies with some yummy hot udon, rested our legs, and continued our ride in the rain....

暗くなり、雨もまだ降っていたので温泉に入って泊まる所を探そうと決めたが・・・温泉はたまたま工事中で休み、道の駅もしまってて泊まる所、温まる所もない、晩御飯食べるところもない、落ち込んでも仕方がないので、気分転換に遊んじゃいました（＾０＾）

The sun set, as the rain continued. We were dirty and cold, so we decided to find an Onsen and take a nice hot bath! To our disbelief the near by onsen was close due to remodeling. The rest stop was closed too and there was no warm place to spend the night, and no where to eat dinner... We figure it won't help to be miserable, so we raise our spirits by playing in a near by park!

長靴代わりのゴミ袋もあまり意味が無く、足が濡れてるのでトコトン遊んじゃえ！！この後は引き返して、ご飯を食べるところを探しに行きました。

The garbage bags we used as rain boots didn't really have any meaning by this point, as our feet were soaking wet, so we played our little hearts out! After our fun at the park, we back tracked to find a place to eat.

名古屋まであと３０KMのところで山の中のファミレスを見つけました。寒くて、疲れてるけど、ここは泊まるところはまず無い。。。仕方なく名古屋まで行くことにしました。コーヒーを３杯飲み、出発！！

We come across a family restaraunt in the middle of no where, about 30 km's away from Nagoya. Dinner was delicious after the long ride in the rain. We were pretty tired by now, but there was definately no place to stay here, so we down 3 cups of coffee and with no choice we ride the 30 km's to Nagoya!

無事に名古屋に到着！！！着いたのは夜中の１時頃。かなり眠かった。。

Finally, at 1am we arrive safely to Nagoya! Verrrrrrry sleepy....

名古屋では有名なナナちゃん人形の前で友達と待ち合わせをしました。

We meet our friend in front of Nagoya's famous "Nana chan doll". Kinda creepy an't she...



友達の家に着くとすぐに温かいお風呂に入りました！！足の裏を見ると、雨を吸い込んでシワクチャになってました。気持ち悪い。。。

Upon arrival to our friends house we take a nice HOT shower! The soles of our feet were very rinkled from being wet so long..... Gross...
