June 17/ day 60.
Today we will ride to Yokohama. Since Yokohama is not to far from Shyonan we decide to take a cat nap before hitting the road.
While riding to Yokohama, we wern't very sure if we were going the right way and began to worry a bit, when we met Joe! Joe loves bicycles and participates in races ect... He is also a cyropractor. He was riding home from work when we crossed paths.
He rode with us to Yokohama, gave us a quick tour of the city, and even helped us find a net cafe to spend the night! Thank you Joe!! We really apreciate your kindness! It really is a shame that I lost the photo we took together with joe....

June 18/ day 61.

Being a week day, we figure busking won't go very good during the morning hours, so we explore Yokohama city! First, we check out Yokohama's famous China town!

Compared to Kobe's China town, the buildings were much fancier!

We find another chance to take a funny photo!

Next, we head to near the port, where we find many colorful cows!! There were from many different countries, each country with there own special design. We both chose Italy's cow as our favorite!

This is Yokohama's famous "Red brick warehouse". Many years ago it was used for storage, but today it is filled with restaraunts etc....

Aparently there is a baseball game tonight at Yokohama stadium, so we decide to busk and sell balloons outside the stadium before and after the game! We busk a bit before the game, then wander around the area while we wait for the game to finish.

Around the amusment park, there were many couples and families walking about. A warm feeling was in the air!

This cool ball would change patterns every few minutes. Me and Marie watched it for about ten minutes. We took many pictures of it, trying to capture its ....coolness? But unfortunatly it didn't look so cool in the photos...too bad....

WOW! The tallest building in Japan! ( the one on the very left) About 70 stories? Anyway, it was very tall! Standing right under and looking up strains the neck.

Before returning to the stadium we stop at a convenience store to use the bathroom, when we met a man who works with Nisshin Pharma ( they sponsored us a sports suppliment). It was a complete coincidence! Our whole trip seems to be full of them, that I don't think its coincidence.
We finish busking at the stadium and begin packing up, when we meet Hiromu. He is a cyclist, and enjoyed cycling with his friends during his collage years. He invited us to stay with him and his girl friend for the night, and we gladly except! Both Hiromu and his girlfriend, Miki are very kind and friendly. Miki also has been to Cambodia for volunteer work, and we had much to talk about. Thank you for a good time and for letting us stay with you!
